Topic/Intent of book: This book explores various transportation methods by which dogs or other rational agents might “go”. Specifically, it demonstrates how dogs might transport themselves to a tree-top dog party.

I selected this book because: This is a childhood favorite and it had been a while since I revisited it. My colleague, Mark Schall, mentioned that he has recently read and re-read this book numerous times (often multiple times per day) and it has impacted him and his family very positively. I am glad that I took the time to reread it and fully process its important message about taking charge and simply "going."

Recommendation: I highly recommend this book! This book is great for readers of all ages. It is bound in a tough, hard cover suitable for handling by both adults and young children.

Major lessons from this book: There are many ways by which dogs can travel or be conveyed on their way to a dog party. It is about both the journey (my favorite being the miniature cars) and the destination (a tree top party).

Book Inspirations: This book was one of my favorites as a child. It inspired me to climb trees, build forts in trees, and has left me with an appreciation for small cars capable of being driven by canine drivers wearing scarves, hats, and racing goggles.
